Tsviatko Kamburov was born in 1959 in the town of Kazanlak, and has been living in Pleven since 1985. He has a university degree in law and has been working as an investigator for 38 years. He participates annually with his stories in the almanacs "New Bulgarian Literature", "Humor and Satire" and "Prose" of the "Letters" publishing house from 2016 until now, as well as in the Christmas almanac of the same publishing house for 2022 and 2023. In April 2022 .is publishing a stand-alone book of humorous stories "Smoke Mouse and Other Amazing Stories", and in early 2023 - a second collection of stories called "Woman with Earrings". Revenge is his first novel, written in the period 2009-2020 - a semi-autobiographical, seemingly chamber story about the investigation of a murder, which explores both psychological and social issues of its time. Interwoven into the story are fragments of actual investigations, characters that have real prototypes, some still alive today. "Revensh" is a novel about the difficult work of investigators, about the implacability and compromises that we sometimes have to make, about the eternal struggle between good and evil and about the second chance that life often gives us and that we sometimes carelessly miss.
