Тom Thumb and Hunca Munca break into a doll house while its doll occupants Lucinda and Jane are taking a walk. The two mice wreak havoc, especially Tom Thumb, by smashing the plaster doll food, tossing doll clothes out the window, and shredding feather beds. When the little girl who owns the doll house discovers the vandalism, she buys a policeman doll to stand guard but her governess buys a mousetrap. In atonement for their destructive spree, Tom Thumb puts a crooked sixpence in Lucinda's stocking while Hunca Munca cleans the doll house every morning with broom and dustpan.
