Lydia Shevelyova is a journalist, who hasn`t understood that was used as a pawn in somebody`s game. Yegor Shubin – “vile cheat with appearance of a lord” – as she defines him in her article, is thrown out. He has only a week to disprove the facts… Otherwise he is going to die. After that follows murders, violence, pursuit… But the destiny is unpredictable and the recent enemies cooperate their efforts to find and destroy their common enemy.
