Mole yearns for a car. After all, even dogs get to drive in them. But nobody invites him for a ride, so he tries to build his own little car, but it won't start. He happens to find another car by the road, which a spoilt boy had thrown away. His friend Mouse tells him where to get it fixed, and then, finally, Mole can proudly drive around in his beautiful little red car.
