VIOLENCE. Psychological analysis of crime scene
The psychological analysis of the crime is the basis for preparing the psychological profile of the perpetrator. The psychological profile can be another method to derive criteria for the identification of the offender, but its effectiveness depends on the quality of the traditional operational and investigative activities, from preliminary expert information from the crime scene and victimological analysis. Profiling can not replace quality criminal investigation, but can give an educated guess about key features of the personality and behavior of the offender and thus give adequate guidance on operational search activities.
