Beasts
Beasts have always fed man, his fears, his fantasies, they invade his peace, they walk through folklore, they will always sneak into the stories of grandparents. They are safe outside of us, in the Serengeti, in the zoo, in the past of homo sapiens. And merciless when they enter our souls and suck our being. A beast lives in every man. Why do we grow it? To fuel our fury, so necessary to fight life and its curses. In this novel, love is also a beast. Because love can be merciless too.
