Assoc. Prof. Nedelcho Stoychev is a longtime criminal psychologist, personally participated in the discovery of many heavy murders, kidnappings and sexual abusements, became in the recent history of Bulgaria.

He is a former Director of the Institute of Psychology  and Head of Cabinet of inner Minister Yordan Bakalov. Since the beginning of 2016 is Rector of the Police Academy.
